23-year-old Scarlett Johansson’s debut album, Anywhere I Lay My Head, is scheduled to be released on May 20. The album, which was produced under Atco Records, will be a collection of songs written by prominent singer-songwriter Tom Waits. The 11-cut album (1 original and 10 interpretations) was recorded in just five weeks.

A funeral service was held in Knoxville, Tennessee last Monday to honor the death of former child star Brad Renfro. Renfro’s family then disclosed in an obituary in the Sentinel that Renfro was survived by a young son, whom they termed as “Y Renfro” in order to protect his identity.

Excited parents Nicole Richie and fiancé Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden happily welcomed their first child together - healthy baby girl Harlow Winter Kate Madden who was born on Friday at the Cedars-Sinai Hospital. The couple’s first daughter weighed in at six pounds, seven ounces. Richie and Madden have been dating for over a year and plans to marry later this year.

Britney Spears is already out of Cedars-Sinai Hospital after more than 24 hours of confinement. Spears was supposed to be held under a minimum three-day lockdown to undergo several physical and psychological examinations. Medical workers placed her on a “5150” hold m
