Patrick Swayze, the light footed-star who brought us to tears in Ghost and made us dance in Dirty Dancing has been fighting pancreatic cancer since he was diagnosed last month. Currently he’s been doing chemotherapy at Stanford University Medical Center.
Unfortunately, things seem to be getting worse. He is being treated with an experimental drug called Vatanalib. According to OK!, this is only done when the cancer has already advanced and may be spreading to different parts of his body.
Friends and family are still hoping for a miracle. A close family friend said that,We are being extremely optimistic. Patrick will be in the five percent who survive this.We’re hoping so as well.

The Spears lives have been a roller-coaster. Britney Spears rocketed to stardom only to fall into weirdness. Younger sister, Jamie Lynne Spears seems to be following her older sisters rise to fame only to get pregnant at the early age of 16.
Both are doing their best to return to normalcy. Britney is losing some weight and trying on a different medium of entertainment: television. She’s going to do a guest spot on How I Met Your Mother as Abby, a dermatologists secretary who falls in love with the lead, Ted, played by actor Josh Radnor. Jamie on the other hand, 6 months into her pregnancy, is trying to live like a normal teenage girl: shopping, going out with friends, and others.
Britney and Jamie are making up for lost time. There are reports from OK! That both are talking again and will be working on their relationship with each other.

Imagine you’re a dad, its a Monday morning and you have to drive your kids to the school. Some find it a chore that they would rather not deal with. Now, dads are volunteering to drive the kids to school. Housewives be forewarned: its the safety patrols fault!
The Safety Patrol never looked so sexy. Pam Anderson admits that she spends her Monday mornings, volunteering as safety patrol for her sons school. According to her interview on the Ellen DeGeneres Show last Wednesday, she wears the proper gear, With the neon vest and everything,”
How are the parents reacting? According to her, she usually gets funny looks, but generally, most parents think its funny that she’s doing that.

Spiderman Director, Sam Raimi wants to direct a Jack Ryan movie.
If you’ve been a Suspense-Thriller type of book reader, then you’ll be familiar with Jack Ryan: main character for many Tom Clancy novels. Not to mention that four movies have been based on this character and his adventures, namely: The Hunt for Red October, Patriot Games, Clear and Present Danger, and The Sum of All Fears. Three excellent movie stars have also portrayed this character: Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford, and Ben Affleck.
Raimis going to be delving back into the characters past. He wants a movie based on a younger Ryan, but based in the present. Although, Tom Clancy is writing a new novel based on this character, Paramount (owner of the Ryan character) has not seen it yet and therefore, cannot comment on whether the new movie will be based on the book or make up a new one.

Miley Cyrus does not believe in Destiny or Hope. The Disney star has just filed papers in LA’s Superior Court to change her legal name from Destiny Hope Cyrus to Miley Ray Cyrus.
According to documents sent in, the reason she’s changing her name is she’s been commonly known as Miley Cyrus since she was a young child. The Change of Name is requested to make her commonly used name the same as her legal name.” Although, she still has some things to do to make the changes official: she needs to publish a public notice to inform everyone of the name change.

We all know that Daniel Radcliff, lead star of the Harry Potter Movie series, is already past 18 and he can almost do whatever he wants, but please someone ask him to stop smoking!
Yes, he’s smoking so much these days, that his co-stars have dubbed him as Harry Puffer. How much, you might ask? 20 sticks a day. How frequently? Everytime the director says cut, he gets his stick and lights it up. When the stress is really high, like one day he was shooting a difficult stunt, he goes over the 20 stick day average.
We’re just hoping that someone out there can do an early intervention.

If you’ve been seeing another woman behind your girlfriend’s back and receiving sweet text messages from her, please have the intelligence of erasing them after reading. This is one thing that photographer and Britney’s (ex?) boyfriend, Adnan Ghalib, forgot to do. Unfortunately, Britney was able to read them in his mobile phone and reportedly threw it into her pool.
The other woman, Amanda Pagel, was clueless. According to her, Adnan mentioned that he and Britney are just having a platonic relationship. He went on promising that there was no sex involved and that he’s just helping Britney get up back on her feet.
